Teepee is winterized and Im off to Mexico
Saturday, October 25th, 2008
After a ton more work than expected we have finally finished our teepee and are somewhat prepared to burl out the winter. We capped the the hole in the top, installed our wood burning stove and chimney, built our out house, made steps down to the creek, and stocked up on fire wood. I am now in Saladita Mexico working on my surf skills, doing yoga, and chillin like a villin.
Jacqui and our teepee with our new deluxe stove pipe and our tarp cap.
The view from near our teepee of 14,000 ft Pyramid peak with some of the season first snow
Our super sick outhouse, built from all free materials
The compost pile where we will compost all things compostable, including our poop, food scrapes, some trash etc… and turn it into precious organic matter to give back to the earth
Is this going to be enough wood?
TADAH!!! Finally our new stove, built by the master himself, Stuart Edgerly. Hopefully this keeps us warm all winter
Inside our home, booya!
